"When the time arrived for Elizabeth to have her child she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her, and they rejoiced with her. When they came on the eight day to circumcise the child, they were going to call him Zechariah after his father, but his mother said in replay, "No. He will be called John." But they ansered her, "There is no one among your relatives who has this name." So they made signs, asking his father what he wished him to be called. He asked for a tablet and wrote, "John is his name", and all were amazed. Immediately his mouth was opened, his tounge freed, and he spoke blessing God. Then fear came upon all their neighbors, and all these matters were discussed throughout the hill of Judea. All who heard these things took them to heart, saying, "What, then, will this child be?" For surely the hand of the Lord was with him. The boy grew and became strong in spirit, and he lived in the wildrness until the day he appeard openly to Israel." (Luke 1, 57-66.80)

This coming weekend June 18 - 19 we would like to invite you to the reatreat "Let us continue in the community" organized and conducted by our Charismatic Renewal Community EFFATHA. "Jesus said to His student: "Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and thieves break and steal: but lay up on yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither month nor rust doth corrupt, and  where thieves do not break through and steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whle body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! (Mt 6, 19-23)

"Hear my voice, Lord, when I call; have mercy on me and answer me. "Come", says my heart, "seek his face"; your face, Lord, I seek! Do not hide your face from me; do not repel your servant in anger. You are my salvation; do not cast me off; do not forsake me. God my savior! I believe I shall see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord, take courage; be southearted, wait for the Lord! (Ps 27, 7-9, 13-14)
